The Mortgage Professionals Canada (MPC) Annual Conference — often referred to informally as "the MPC Conference" or the "National Mortgage Conference" — is the flagship event for Canada's entire residential mortgage industry. Held each November at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, the event regularly draws over 1,200 attendees representing the full spectrum of the industry: independent mortgage brokers and agents, franchise network operators, monoline lenders, banks, credit unions, mortgage insurers, technology vendors, and real estate lawyers.

Mortgage Professionals Canada is the national trade association representing over 15,000 mortgage professionals across the country. Unlike provincial associations (MBABC, AMBA, IMBA, etc.), MPC advocates at the federal level — with OSFI, the Bank of Canada, CMHC, and the Department of Finance — on issues like stress test policy, mortgage insurance rules, and capital requirements for lenders.
